DIFIL-G® Tablets are indicated as
a
bronchodilator-expectorant for treating
bronchial asthma and for reversible bronchospasm associated
with chronic bronchitis and emphysema. DIFIL-G®
tablets acts to dilate bronchioles and liquefy mucus,
giving relief from dyspnea, non-productive cough and
tracheobronchial irritation.

Guaifenesin 300 mg
Guaifenesin is an expectorant which increases respiratory
tract fluid secretions and helps to loosen phlegm
and bronchial secretions.
Dyphylline 200 mg
Dyphylline is a bronchodilator, but it also exhibits
peripheral vasodilatory and other smooth muscle relaxant
activity to a lesser degree.

| Dosing
and Administration |
Adults:
18 years and older
1 tablet administered orally 3 or 4 times
daily. In severe cases, dosage may be doubled if necessary.
Pediatrics:
Safety and effectiveness in the pediatric
population has not been established. Use caution when
administering to pediatric patients.
DIFIL-G® Tablets, each tablet of which
contains guaifenesin 300 mg and dyphylline 200 mg,
are supplied as a white, capsule-shaped tablet embossed
“SJ/647” in bottles of 100 tablets.
